S1 E7: Creating Noise with Sharon Tapper

 Today, I’m speaking with Sharon Tapper, whose remarkable career in the music industry spans   across multiple impressive roles. She began at the legendary Sarm Studios in London, managing sessions with icons like Paul McCartney and George Michael. Since then, she’s held key positions at Glassnote Music, Razor & Tie Music Publishing, and Kobalt Music among others.

Sharon has served on the board of directors at AIMP and co-founded NYC3, an organization for the New York Creative community that brought professionals together through meaningful events. She's been an active leader within the Recording Academy, serving as a governor for the New York chapter and co chairing its Advocacy Committee.

Currently, she is the Executive Director of the Music Managers Forum–USA, where she continues to drive progress and amplify voices across the industry.
